Partnership with Adwind Renewables GmbH for optimal support in Redispatch2.0

Redispatch 2.0 – pure.energy GmbH appoints Adwind Renewables GmbH for the role of BTR (technical resource operator)

More and more wind farm operators are feeling the sharp increase in redispatch operations. In 2019, the figure was still around 6,500 GWh. By 2023, the figure had already risen to almost 11,000 GWh from renewable energies; an increase of over 60%. And there are no signs of a reduction in 2024. This development underscores the increasing importance of accurate and timely calculation of compensation for lost output. Constant monitoring of the process chains is of critical importance here, as there are still many sources of error in the redispatch process.

We atpure.energy GmbH arealsoseeingsteady growth in redispatch measures among our existing and new customers. In order to continue pursuing our customers' interests with the necessary intensity, we have entered into a partnership with Adwind Renewables GmbH, a company that has been operating successfully on the market for many years. From September 1, 2024, Adwind will support pure.energy in the role of BTR and will be available to our customers to answer any questions they may have about redispatch processes.

"We have been supporting and managing all processes since the introduction of redispatch and are delighted to be able to support pure.energyGmbH, an established and growing direct marketer," says Thorsten Seiffert, Managing Director of Adwind Renewables GmbH.

"We are very happy about the support and successful cooperation in introducing the detailed processes in Redispatch 2.0," says Magne Borgund, Managing Director of pure.energy GmbH."We are delighted to have Adwind Renewables GmbH as a competent partner at our side, who also has a comprehensive understanding of the commercial and technical processes involved in direct marketing and can provide our customers with comprehensive support."

Adwind Renewables GmbH has been successfully implementing the processes for wind farm operators since the introduction of Redispatch 2.0 in October 2021 and currently manages over 1,000 MW throughout Germany. "In conjunction with the rotorsoft operations management software, we are developing targeted administrative processes to provide customers with the best possible information," adds Britta Eden, project manager at Adwind Renewables GmbH.

"With this new partnership, we are ensuring that we will continue to fully represent our customers' interests in the area of redispatch in the future," says Onur Fisek, Head of Business Development at pure.energyGmbH.

"Direct marketers, in their role as those responsible for deployment, have access to all relevant basic data (master data, non-claimability, etc.), which is absolutely necessary as a basis for calculating the grid operator's outage work. Counterproposals to the grid operator can be argued with technical justification and help in the final determination of the outage work," says Thorsten Seiffert of Adwind Renewables GmbH. "We are therefore very pleased to have gained pure.energy GmbH, a customer-oriented direct marketer, for our service and look forward to working together."
